Mark D. Crittenden Bio

Mark worked in Ventura County, CA for nine years for a multi-faceted A/E firm before coming to Santa Barbara in 1985 to open his own firm, Mark Crittenden, Structural Engineers.  His experience grew as he worked on a wide variety of commercial, industrial, historical, religious and residential buildings, utilizing a wide variety of materials, methodologies and site conditions.  In 2006 he joined 19six Architects as a project engineer working on police facilities, school and commercial buildings, and became a principal in 2019.  As a Principal Structural Engineer at 19six Architects he continues to provide creative and practical solutions to Clients’ structural projects.
