City of Glendale Fire Station 28 Renovation

GLENDALE, CA

The City proposed to renovate the existing firefighter sleeping and restroom accommodations on the first floor of the fire station. The existing bunk room, locker room, restroom and shower room was completely gutted and reconstructed with a new layout. A total of four new dorm rooms are shown in the schematic design and will be based upon similar design criteria as the proposed renovation project at Fire Station 29. In the schematic design provided by the City, separate spaces for a laundry room and a small office are shown. In the project description, the City program also included a hallway lavatory, a custodial closet, and a complete renovation to the Captain’s office.
