19six Architects provided professional architectural and engineering services for Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital’s East Wing Treatment Room remodel. Remodel included the installation of the MultiDiagnost ELEVA with Flat Detector – a multifunctional x-ray system, designed to provide faster, more confident diagnoses. This advanced diagnostic system combines a wide applicational range with revolutionary Eleva technology and features Philips’ latest dynamic Flat Detector to provide excellent image quality at the lowest possible radiation dose.
Services included schematic design, construction documents, agency approval from the Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development (OSHPD), and construction administration for equipment installation. This project required removal of the ceiling, replacement of all lighting, mechanical supply and return distribution, and a new mechanical gas column to be installed. In addition, new cabinets, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler modifications installed.
