In need of a new City Hall, because Lincoln was growing by leaps and bounds, we were able to design a new facility for them that met all their public access and department adjacency needs as well as fit on a site that had constraints on all sides. Our solution also incorporated a two-floor open lobby, open space for circulation, and terra cotta on the front of the building from the international clay potter, Gladding McBean, which is located in Lincoln.
