A state-of-the-art Culinary Career and Technical Education (CTE) classroom building, designed to elevate the learning experience for aspiring chefs and culinary students. This newly completed facility, spanning 3,289 square feet, is a modern, dynamic space where students can develop their culinary skills in a professional-grade environment. Built with steel moment frame and light gauge steel stud construction, the building stands as a testament to quality craftsmanship and innovation.
Inside, the culinary classroom is fully equipped with cutting-edge commercial-grade appliances, including ranges, cooktops, prep tables, three-compartment sinks, dedicated handwashing and prep sinks, refrigerators, freezers, an ice machine, warming ovens, double stack ovens, and industry-standard Type 1 kitchen exhaust hoods. The space is climate-controlled, featuring both HVAC and swamp cooler systems, ensuring a comfortable learning environment year-round. Ample casework, custom cabinetry, and dedicated storage areas provide practical and efficient organization for both students and staff. The classroom is fully supported by comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring seamless operations, and enhanced safety through a state-of-the-art fire alarm system integrated into the campus-wide network.
Beyond the culinary lab, the project includes 2,856 square feet of DSA-approved shade sail structures, creating a comfortable, shaded outdoor area ideal for socializing or hosting outdoor events. The surrounding grounds feature newly installed concrete, and elegant concrete site furniture and planters.
This Culinary CTE building is now a vibrant, functional hub that will empower students to explore their passion for culinary arts in a real-world setting. The space reflects a commitment to excellence in education, offering future culinary professionals the tools, environment, and inspiration to succeed.
