Light House Bank

SANTA CRUZ, CA

Santa Cruz County Bank (formerly Lighthouse Bank) commissioned 19six Interiors to renovate their new location in downtown Santa Cruz. The client wanted a space that resonated with the community, while still having the aesthetic of a traditional bank.

Playing off the name Lighthouse Bank (at the time) 19six designed a custom pendent light for the main foyer of the building. The replicated light house pendent speaks to the organizations name but also the close ties to the sea that Santa Cruz embraces. Custom wooden teller stations enhance the space and highlight the client’s vision for the project. In the back of house, we were able to add whimsicalness to the space by adding surfboards as décor in the main conference room.

Space Planning and Furniture System design was completed by the 19six team alongside a local furniture dealership. Working with the dealership we were able to guide the client though furniture selection, finish selection, vetting all option through our design team before presenting to the client for review. This allowed us to facilitate the process and simplify what can be an overwhelming process.
