In an effort to increase efficiency and decrease cost, Sacramento County wanted to consolidate several of its locations serving its sewer district. Their vision was for a single location that could house their public interfacing team and encompass their corporation yard. We delivered on their original vision by creating spaces that encouraged interaction and facilitated team-building, while also achieving LEED Gold status. Additionally, we incorporated specially commissioned art work, site bioswales, and an elegant entrance with terra cotta accent tiles – a nod to the original sewer pipes traditionally manufactured and used locally. The resulting building wraps utilitarian efficiency and cost-effective construction solutions into an elegant, modern façade.
